Key Responsibilities:
- Review and assess M&E / Building Services design documentation for compliance with project requirements and standards
- Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of engineering outputs
- Support the development and integration of engineering solutions aligned with railway infrastructure standards
- Conduct site visits as needed to review installations and interface with stakeholders
- Ensure engineering assurance and manage technical risks across multiple concurrent projects
- Provide input into project planning, delivery, and progress reporting
- Liaise with Network Rail and TRU stakeholders to ensure alignment with wider programme goals
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer within the rail sector (M&E / Building Services)
- Strong knowledge of rail engineering standards and practices, particularly for stations, depots, or operational buildings
- Experience reviewing and coordinating M&E design deliverables
- Ability to manage and prioritise workloads across multiple projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Competent in technical report writing and design assurance processes
- Chartered Engineer or working toward chartership (desirable)
