Summary: The role of Project Engineer involves supporting a Berkshire-based client by managing small to medium-sized projects within the pharmaceutical industry. The position requires adherence to engineering standards and compliance with GMP and CDM regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, overseeing project completion, and reporting progress to management. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cross-functional teams and executing projects in a highly automated GMP production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project engineering small packages of works.
- Delivery of a portfolio of small – medium sized projects in accordance with the company project roadmap throughout the project lifecycle ensuring governance to current engineering standards and compliance with CDM regulations.
- Strict GMP compliance to be adhered throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Coordination with the Principal Contractor and all other project team members to ensure completion to schedule.
- Project management services to oversee the completion snags and any construction defects identified.
- Project management services to oversee the completion of any installation, commissioning and qualification by liaising with the vendor, company Validation and any other company teams.
- Weekly project progress reporting to the company Portfolio Manager.
- Weekly project reporting to the PM Group/company Alliance Manager.
Key Skills:
- Project Engineer/ Project Manager with experience in managing cross functional teams.
- Delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and processing projects in a highly automated GMP production environment.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Equipment, facility & process experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage and execute projects from initiation to completion.
- Full project lifecycle experience from end to end design through to C&Q and handover.
- Understands project management process; programming, scope development, design development, implementation and project closeout.
- Execution/adherence – demonstrated record of on time delivery.
- Demonstrable record of delivering right first time handover of documentation.
- Ability to work with end user on developing operating procedures, maintenance & calibration plans.
- Strong understanding of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices.
