Summary: The role of Electrical Project Engineer involves supporting the early stages of high voltage integration projects within a leading renewable energy organization in the UK. The position requires collaboration with design and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of engineering documentation. The role is based in the client's office three days a week, with remote work options for the remaining two days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of electrical engineering scope across solar and BESS projects.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure design and documentation meet project requirements.
- Contribute to project planning from early design through to construction stages.
- Ensure compliance with relevant grid connection standards (e.g., G99).
Key Skills:
- Strong electrical engineering background within renewable energy projects.
- Experience with BESS, solar, or other grid-connected assets.
- Understanding of grid connection and compliance processes (G99/G100).
- Ability to manage documentation and interface with design and construction teams.
Salary (Rate): £650/day

We’re supporting a market-leading organisation delivering large-scale renewable energy projects across the UK, including solar and battery energy storage systems. They’re seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the team and support the early stages of an HV integration project.
This role requires close collaboration with the design and commercial teams to ensure all engineering documentation is delivered accurately, on schedule, and aligned with project progress. You will be based in the client’s office three days per week, with the option to work remotely for the remaining two days.
