Summary: The Project Engineer role at a leading Aerospace organization in Broughton involves delivering projects that enhance production processes while ensuring safety, cost, and quality standards are met. The position requires collaboration with shopfloor teams to minimize disruptions and provide innovative solutions. The successful candidate will manage project financials and documentation, as well as identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery. A background in project management and production environments is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the business by carrying out process mapping and requirements analysis.
- Ensure design, development, integration, and technical acceptance activities are completed within budget and schedule.
- Work with stakeholders to define "AS IS" and "TO BE" solutions.
- Provide project financial management including cost-benefit analysis, planning, estimating, budgeting, and managing project expenses.
- Create all required project documentation according to the agreed governance model.
- Identify and manage risks related to project delivery, including interdependencies with other projects or services.
Key Skills:
- Project management accreditation (advantageous).
- Experience in a production environment.
- Stakeholder management and customer relationship building.
- Ability to analyze and simplify complex topics.
- Familiarity with Click n Buy, FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 whys, Fishbone Analysis, and flowcharts (advantageous).
- Experience in generating technical specifications based on operational requirements.
