Project Engineer- Automotive Engineering BIW

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage BIW engineering projects across various vehicle platforms.
• Coordinate between customer and Engineering to ensure seamless execution of BIW issues.
• Interface with suppliers for tooling, feasibility, and part development activities.
• Monitor and report project milestones, costs, and technical risks; proactively manage issues.
• Support prototype builds, validation testing, and launch activities at manufacturing sites.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal engineering guidelines.

Key Skills:

• 3 years of experience in BIW engineering or structural vehicle body design.
• Solid understanding of automotive body structures, joining techniques (spot welding, laser welding, adhesives), and materials (steel, aluminum, mixed-materials).
• Experience with product development processes (APQP, PPAP, GD&T, DFMEA).
• Strong Engineering Background, good project and communication skills.
• Experience with EV platforms or lightweight body structures (preferred).
• Familiarity with CAE tools and simulation results interpretation (preferred).
• Experience working in cross-functional teams (preferred).
