Summary: This role is for a Project Deputy within a respected organization focused on transformation in a regulated environment. The position involves supporting the delivery of technology and engineering projects, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, resources, and communications to ensure high-quality outcomes. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in Oxford, requiring significant project management experience in regulated sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, governance, and delivery of complex technology and operational projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, evaluate, and implement business solutions.
- Manage project timelines, resources, risks, budgets, and communications to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support engineering and operational improvement initiatives, driving continuous improvement and change management activities.
Key Skills:
- Significant project management experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, engineering, or similarly regulated sectors.
- Proven track record of delivering technology implementation, transformation, or R&D projects in complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, business process analysis, and requirements gathering capabilities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Role Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for a senior project professional to play a pivotal role within a major transformation programme. Working closely with the Project Lead, you will support the delivery of technology, operational, and engineering projects across a complex R&D environment. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Mon-Fri 0800-1600 (core hours, with spill either side of that due to nature of role)
