Summary: The Project Delivery Manager will lead the delivery of tailored development programmes aimed at enhancing senior digital and data leadership within the Civil Service's Digital and Data Senior Talent Team. This role involves designing and implementing a Digital Leadership learning offer, managing external providers, and collaborating with stakeholders across government. The position requires a focus on delivery and relationship management within a complex organizational environment. The contract is for an initial period of three months, with a rate of £500 per day and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of a Digital Leadership learning offer, addressing skills gaps that limit progression into senior talent levels.
- Procure and manage external providers to deliver the programme and launch a pilot cohort by the end of the financial year.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across government to progress initiatives, unblock issues, and ensure consistent messaging.
- Hand over the pilot and next-phase plan to the wider team.
- Support other senior talent programmes and broader talent management initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Proven project and delivery management experience across multiple initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing and collaborating beyond your immediate team.
- Background in HR or talent development, ideally within a digital or technology environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Experience working with government departments is highly desirable.
