Summary: The Project Data Manager role involves supporting a global technology consultancy by enhancing project data quality and coordinating process adoption following recent internal system changes. The position focuses on reducing project record-keeping backlogs and ensuring accurate forecasting and planning. The role requires collaboration across various teams to embed updated processes and facilitate a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining documentation and providing regular updates on progress and risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update, validate and maintain accurate project data within IFS and ProFinda.
- Reduce the backlog of outstanding project records to enable reliable forecasting and reporting.
- Become an expert operational user of IFS and ProFinda to support and complement existing SuperUsers.
- Support the embedding of updated project processes and ownership structures introduced through FREEDOM.
- Establish a clear and scalable method for managing, prioritising and resolving project data support requests.
- Conduct routine quality and compliance checks to ensure process steps and data standards are consistently met.
- Work closely with PMO, Sales and Delivery teams to ensure clear understanding of process steps, hand-offs and responsibilities.
- Engage stakeholders across Defence and wider Roke functions to ensure alignment with business rhythms and reporting cadences.
- Produce and maintain clear documentation of project processes and system workflows to support BAU adoption.
- Provide regular progress updates on backlog reduction, data quality, and process embedding, escalating risks or issues as required.
- Support the stabilisation of project-data workflows to enable smooth transition back to permanent BAU roles.
- Contribute to knowledge transfer and handover activities as permanent resources join the function.
Key Skills:
- Experience working with multiple internal teams and managing effective communication across functions.
- Demonstrable experience working within structured processes, workflows or governance frameworks.
- Experience using business or project systems (eg, ERP, CRM, forecasting or reporting tools) with strong attention to data quality and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities and meet deadlines reliably.
- Capable of identifying inaccuracies or gaps in data and processes, and supporting teams in resolving them.
- Clear and concise communication skills, able to convey updates and guidance across varied stakeholders.
- Experience contributing effectively in cross-functional teams without needing formal leadership responsibilities.
- Willingness to undertake a mix of process-focused and operational tasks during periods of organisational change.
- Exposure to project management frameworks such as APM, PRINCE2, Agile.

Key Responsibilities
Systems and Data Management
