Project Coordinator/Project Lead - 6 Month Contract (Inside IR35)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator/Project Lead to join our team on an initial 6-month contract. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days per week onsite in South West London and 2 days working remotely. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project delivery, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proficient in project management platforms such as Microsoft Project and other industry-standard planning and scheduling tools.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for reporting, tracking, and data analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments, balancing competing priorities while making informed decisions.
  • Proven experience delivering projects and coordinating with internal teams, third-party vendors, and senior stakeholders, providing clear and timely status updates.
  • Good understanding of retail technology environments, including hardware deployments, networking concepts, and cloud-based solutions.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee the successful execution of projects, acting as the primary liaison between internal teams, suppliers, project stakeholders, and service providers.
  • Coordinate and manage Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, ensuring collaboration across business units and external partners.
  • Support the development of Project Initiation Documents (PID), Statements of Work (SOW), and other key project documentation where required.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery aligns with agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards.
  • Track and control project expenditure, maintaining visibility of budgets, forecasts, and actual costs.
  • Administer and review Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective financial tracking.
  • Monitor and manage project-related incidents, ensuring issues are identified, escalated, and resolved appropriately.
  • Review, validate, and approve project completion and acceptance documentation.
  • Maintain oversight of estimated costs, approved quotations, and realised savings throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular project governance meetings, including daily and weekly progress reviews, to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Produce and distribute project reports, dashboards, and updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
