Summary: The Project Controls Coordinator III role in Edmonton involves comprehensive project control management, focusing on cost and schedule development throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full Project Control Management, including cost/schedule development and control during the project lifecycle.
- Assist in Project Scope Management by offering insights into scope definition, verification, change control, and financial health.
- Collaborate with internal teams to analyze incurred field costs and compare against budget and forecasts.
- Prepare expenditure profiles, workforce histograms, and capital cost estimates for projects.
- Support other departments in cost management for internal controls.
- Track Key Performance Indicators and enhance project execution.
- Generate regular and ad hoc analyses, including graphs and presentations.
- Develop templates and procedures for Gating Controls Process implementation.
- Prepare project status reports with variance analysis for management.
Key Skills:
- A diploma, degree, or related construction/operational training and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Construction experience in cost and scheduling controls for multi-discipline projects.
- General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables).
- Experience with MS Office Suite and Oracle or SAP.
- Power BI and EcoSys experience are a plus.
- Understanding of Earned Value Management techniques preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
