Summary: The Project Coordinator role involves supporting Technical Project Managers in planning, RAID management, and project governance for a DWP project. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple critical paths while adopting a junior Project Manager role as the program progresses. The role is hybrid, requiring three days in the office and two days remote work. The contract duration is eight months, with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update detailed project plans and assist Technical Project Managers with planning and re-planning of WBS/PBS elements.
- Support Technical PMs in managing configuration and change management processes, coordinating review cycles with stakeholders.
- Shadow Technical PMs at internal standups, sprint ceremonies, and checkpoints, deputizing when necessary.
- Ensure KANBAN boards are used correctly by task-based resources for efficient standups.
- Collate internal progress reporting and contribute to external progress reporting as required.
- Maintain the internal RAID log, including governance and reporting.
- Manage Quality Gateway assessments and governance meetings, including minute taking and action log maintenance.
- Support governance with clients and incoming suppliers as needed.
Key Skills:
- Experience in a Programme environment, preferably in a PMO function.
- Knowledge of supply-side project management, including change management and RAID management.
- Excellent writing skills for report writing and information management.
- Ability to work with public sector business-oriented client stakeholders.
- Experience building delivery relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Ability to work in fast-paced projects with fixed go-live dates.

- Key Responsibilities
- Update detailed plan and under direction of Technical Project Managers may be required to replan or add to plan.
- Support Technical PMs with plan management, including planning and re-planning of all WBS/PBS elements, smoothing and float management, deconfliction, critical path burn-down and reporting, task progress updating and reporting.
- Support Technical PMs in ensuring all Products defined in the plan are managed per the configuration management and change management processes, coordinating and collating review cycles with correct stakeholders to meet plan dates.
- Shadow Technical PMs at all internal standups, sprint ceremonies and checkpoints, deputising if/when necessary.
- Support Technical PMs in ensuring the KANBAN boards are being used correctly by all task-based resources to ensure standups are efficient and effective.
- Collate internal progress reporting and input on any agreed external progress reporting the Senior Transition Manager deems required.
- Update and maintain internal RAID log, including capture, update and any governance required to manage, maintain and report.
- Quality Gateway management, including preparing the gateway assessments and managing the gateway governance meetings, assessment issue and mitigations.
- Be responsible for minute taking at internal governance, maintenance of action logs, and may be asked to support governance with client and/or incoming suppliers

- Working in a Programme environment, preferably in a PMO function or reporting to a Project Manager
- Supply-side project management, including change management, RAID management and plan management
- Writing reports and managing information for reporting purposes, with excellent writing skills
- Public sector business orientated (i.e., non-technical) client stakeholders.
- Working with outside resources (clients, suppliers), building good delivery relationships to ensure mutual success.
