Summary: The Project Accountant - Lease Accounting (Interim) role is focused on supporting a lease accounting transformation project within a well-established organization. The position requires a qualified accountant to ensure accurate lease data and compliance with IFRS 16 standards. The role is temporary, with a minimum commitment of three months and the potential for extension or permanent placement. The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with various stakeholders in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring lease data is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Supporting the implementation and compliance of IFRS 16 lease accounting standards
- Working to tight deadlines and managing high-pressure deliverables
- Collaborating with stakeholders across finance and operations
- Providing insight and analysis to support decision-making during the project lifecycle
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in project accounting, ideally within lease accounting or IFRS 16 projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Availability to start immediately and commit to at least 3 months
Salary (Rate): £350 Daily
