Summary: The Project Accountant role is a 6-month fixed-term contract for a leading service provider in North Leeds, focusing on balance sheet reconciliation and process improvement post-acquisition. Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile balance sheets and streamline processes post-acquisition.
  • Conduct entity balance sheet reviews and investigate discrepancies.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany balances.
  • Document and implement new measures where appropriate.
  • Perform constant data cleansing while collaborating with stakeholders.

Fin Search are recruiting a Project Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract basis for a highly acquisitive, leading service provider based in North Leeds. Reporting in to an excellent qualified Finance Director, this role will be responsible for reconciling balance sheets and streamlining and improving processes post acquisition working in a fast paced environment. Duties will include, however are not limited to, entity balance sheet review and investigating any discrepancies, managing balance sheet reconciliations, reconciling intercompany balances, documenting and implementing new measures where appropriate, constant data cleansing whilst working closely and in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will: Ideally be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Have a proven background with a focus on balance sheet reconciliations Have excellent attention to detail Have strong Excel skills Have excellent verbal and written communication skills £45,000 - £55,000/£300 - £350 per day + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + free on site parking
