Summary: The role of Interim Project Accountant involves supporting a key project by assisting the Project Lead in reviewing and extracting financial data. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy across lease records, invoices, payments, and lease control account entries. This position is ideal for a finance professional seeking a dynamic interim role in a fast-paced environment. The role is hybrid, requiring both on-site and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyse property lease data from lease agreements, utilising translation software where required.
- Cross-check lease amounts against actual invoices, payments, and lease control account entries.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy before scheduling information for upload into the accounting system.
- Collaborate with the Project lead to streamline the data extraction and validation process.
- Assist with reporting and reconciliation tasks as required.
Key Skills:
- Qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
- Previous experience in project accounting or a related finance role.
- Strong analytical and data validation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
