The Opportunity
As Project Accountant, you'll provide financial visibility, cost control and insightful reporting across a portfolio of business projects.
Working closely with Finance, Operations and Project teams, you'll ensure project spend is effectively managed, risks are identified early and decision-makers have the information they need to deliver successfully.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project cost tracking and financial reporting
- Strengthening financial governance and approval processes
- Identifying financial risks and supporting mitigation plans
- Providing meaningful financial insight to senior stakeholders
- Monitoring spend, analysing variances and improving forecasting
- Driving continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting
About You
We're keen to hear from both part-qualified and fully qualified finance professionals who can demonstrate:
Strong financial and analytical capability
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to present complex data clearly
Experience in project accounting, cost tracking and budgeting
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach
CIMA or ACCA qualification (part-qualified or qualified) preferred

Working Pattern
This role offers high levels of flexibility, with circa one day per week in the Ashby office and occasional travel to other UK sites.
The remainder of the week can be worked remotely.
