Summary: The Programme Test Manager will lead testing initiatives across multiple projects, focusing on test assurance and system integration for large-scale programmes. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee comprehensive test strategies and master test plans for client programmes, adapting methodologies to suit project needs.
- Manage several testing workstreams simultaneously, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure the most critical and impactful work is completed first, while maintaining a balanced workload for the team.
- Lead, mentor, and manage teams of test managers and testers, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Act as the point of escalation for testing teams, providing guidance and support to resolve complex issues and mitigate risks.
- Set up continuous improvement initiatives, mentoring programmes, and junior staff development plans to enhance the skills and capabilities of the testing team.
- Collaborate with programme managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure testing aligns with business requirements and project timelines.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in testing processes and maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Provide detailed reports and feedback to senior management on test outcomes and quality metrics.

- Extensive experience with Jira.
- Extensive experience in agile software testing and quality assurance, including significant experience in a managerial role of a large testing team.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale testing programmes across multiple platforms and environments.
- Extensive background in testing and assuring AWS cloud-based services.
- Comprehensive experience of CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex testing challenges and drive continuous improvement.
