Programme Service Design Lead

We are looking for an experienced Programme Service Design Lead to lead service and process design across a major transformation programme. You will be responsible for defining the service design approach, governing design standards, and leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality As-Is, To-Be, and transition-state service designs.

Working closely with programme leadership and stakeholders, you will ensure services and processes are designed to support transformation objectives, deliver measurable business benefits, maintain service continuity, and align with the target operating model.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience leading service and process design within large-scale transformation programmes
• Proven expertise in end-to-end service design and business process re-engineering
• Experience designing As-Is, To-Be, and transition-state services and processes
• Strong knowledge of BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, and L2-L4 process modelling frameworks
• Experience aligning service design to Target Operating Models (TOMs)
• Ability to balance governance, risk management, and delivery pace
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and workstream management skills
• Experience leading and developing multi-disciplinary onshore and offshore teams
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making capability in complex environments
• Experience defining process performance measures, benefits baselines, and benefits realisation approaches
• Knowledge of service design, process mapping, and business architecture tools
• Ability to establish high-performing teams and effective ways of working
• Strong communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
