Programme Project Manager – SaaS Implementation

Summary: The Programme Project Manager will lead the delivery of a next-generation SaaS solution, overseeing the full lifecycle of its implementation. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement and project governance skills to ensure alignment with business objectives and successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge and exceptional communication abilities to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams. This position is offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of a major SaaS implementation programme, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Engage and manage relationships with key business stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate project progress, and address challenges proactively.
• Establish and maintain robust project governance structures, delivering regular and insightful updates to ensure project status is transparent and risks are managed.
• Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, while ensuring adaptability as the programme evolves.
• Facilitate regular cadence of meetings and checkpoints to monitor progress and resolve issues swiftly.
• Champion best practices in change management to ensure smooth adoption and minimal business disruption.
• Work in partnership with technical teams and external vendors to ensure seamless solution delivery and integration.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and implementing process enhancements.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Programme or Project Manager, ideally in large-scale SaaS or technology-enabled transformation projects.
• Demonstrable expertise in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Sound understanding of SaaS concepts, implementation processes, and change management.
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and visual – with the ability to present complex information clearly to business and technical audiences.
• Experience establishing and running project governance structures, reporting, and cadence meetings.
• Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is advantageous.
