This thriving South Wales manufacturer is looking to further strengthen its existing Programme / Project function, following the acquisition of a number of lucrative new contracts. The company has an enviable reputation for design excellence and is the supplier of choice for many of the worlds leading manufacturers.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of projects from the enquiry stage through to manufacturing, ensuring handing over to the customer on time and to budget.
  • Will oversee all operational and financial aspects of designated customer accounts, including costs, pricing, profitability, working capital and customer service.
  • Lead the team to foster exceptional customer service and drive short:term wins and long:term growth opportunities.
  • Support the maintenance of high levels of gross margin and operating profit, prioritising financial stability and growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer operational relationships, focusing on ensuring satisfaction, resolving issues and maintaining escalations effectively.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Proven track record in Programme / Project Management in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience of overseeing operational and financial aspects of customer accounts : costs, pricing, profitability, delivering products from enquiry to handover.
  • Familiarity with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, trade compliance and MRP.
