Summary: The Programme PMO Lead role involves leading a Business-critical Programme within a large, complex organization, focusing on budget management, forecasting, and delivering on major projects in the healthcare sector. The position requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The role is based in London and requires a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the PMO function and support Programme Directors and Leadership teams.
- Deliver on major, large-scale, and complex Programmes.
- Improve, automate, and accelerate Programme processes.
- Manage financial planning, including invoices versus budget and forecasting.
- Present to senior stakeholders, including executive level.
- Produce RAID logs as required.
- Multi-task and manage complex queries effectively.
- Utilize programme/project management frameworks and tools.
- Communicate clearly and influence stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Programme PMO Lead.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of financial planning and associated tools.
- Experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Ability to produce RAID logs.
- Familiarity with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Microsoft Forms, and Teams.
- Clear communication style with stakeholder management skills.
- Flexible approach to hybrid working.
- Immediate availability and previous healthcare experience are advantageous.
- Working knowledge of tools such as Atlassian and Microsoft Power Platform.

My client is an instantly recognisable brand, who urgently require a Programme PMO Lead with proven experience of playing a key leadership role on large, complex Programmes, with expert organisational skills, a proactive and positive approach as well as ability to comfortably multi-task to join a Business-critical Programme as it enters an exciting Delivery phase.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Programme PMO Lead within a large, complex organisation
- Demonstrable experience of delivering on major, large scale and complex Programmes
- Ability to provide strong leadership to the PMO function, as well as crucial support for the Programme Directors and Leadership team(s)
- Proven ability to improve, automate and accelerate Programmes
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to work
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Financial Planning (Invoices v budget, Forecasting and associated tools (weekly and monthly basis), resource tracking, Capex, Opex, Totex etc)
- Experience of presenting to senior stakeholders (up to exec level)
- Ability to produce RAID logs (if required)
- Excellent ability to Multi-task and manage complex queries
- Ability to ask the right questions to understand priorities fully
- Strong knowledge of programme/project management frameworks (P3O, MSP, PMO best practices etc)
- Familiarity with MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, Microsoft Forms, Teams and use of copilot and ability to create on brand templates
- Clear and concise communication style, with the ability to influence and also challenge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexible approach towards hybrid working
