Summary: The role of Programme Manager focuses on overseeing the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure work programme within the transportation planning sector. This position is a 3-month contract based in Portsmouth, requiring a hybrid working arrangement. The Programme Manager will report to the Transport Planning Manager and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure work programme.
  • Report directly to the Transport Planning Manager and collaborate with the Programme Director.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and financial reporting.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to ensure project success.

Key Skills:

  • Trained in Project/Programme Management Methodology (PRINCE 2, PMP, RMP, APM, MSP or other).
  • 5+ years of experience in managing large scale/complex projects and programmes.
  • Strong attention to detail and financial reporting skills.
  • Excellent planning and project/programme control skills.
  • Proven leadership, analytical, people management, and communication skills.
  • Results-driven with stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Project or similar planning tools.

Salary (Rate): 400
