Summary: The role of Programme Manager (Service Readiness) involves developing and implementing a comprehensive Service Design & Transition strategy for SAP S/4HANA deployments and related IT services. The position requires strong compliance tracking, stakeholder management, and collaboration with various teams to ensure service readiness and adherence to regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT Service Management and a solid understanding of project management principles within large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive programme-wide Service Design & Transition (SD&T) strategy covering all aspects of SAP S/4HANA deployments and affected non-SAP systems and IT services.
- Lead compliance tracking, ensuring adherence to established SD&T processes, and report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the SD&T Team to ensure compliance with regulations such as SoX, Privacy, and GxP.
- Work with the Regional Site IT group and Global Service Desk group to ensure service readiness and propose additional funding or resources as needed.
- Deliver regular performance management reports and updates to the Programme and SD&T Team.
- Support the creation of process documentation and training materials for SD&T processes.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in IT Service Management, Service Design, and Transition processes.
- Experience in developing and implementing programme-wide Service Design & Transition (SD&T) strategy for SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems.
- Solid understanding of project/programme management principles in large-scale environments.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and communication capabilities at a senior level.
- Experience with compliance regulations such as SoX, Privacy, and GxP.

They are currently looking for a programme manager with experience of service management/service design/service transition.
Your new role
Develop and implement a comprehensive programme-wide Service Design & Transition (SD&T) strategy covering all aspects of the SAP S/4HANA deployments and affected non-SAP systems and IT services. Experience in ECC / S/4 and non-SAP systems.
Lead compliance tracking, ensuring all elements adhere to the established SD&T processes, and report progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders effectively.
Collaborate with the SD&T Team to ensure adherence to guidelines that govern the organisation’s operations, ensuring compliance with regulations such as SoX, Privacy, and GxP.
Collaborate with the Regional Site IT group and the Global Service Desk group to ensure adherence to service offerings and service readiness, proposing where additional funding or resources are required to go-live seamlessly.
Deliver regular performance management reports and updates to the Programme and SD&T Team, providing transparency on activities and progress.
Support the creation of process documentation and training materials for SD&T processes and drive engagement across the programme lifecycle.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in IT Service Management, Service Design, and Transition processes.
Experience of developing and implementing programme-wide Service Design & Transition (SD&T) strategy covering all aspects of SAP S/4HANA deployments and affected non-SAP systems and IT services.
Experience in ECC / S/4 and non-SAP systems deployments in large global organisations
Solid understanding of project / programme management principles and experience within a large-scale programme environment. Ensuring compliance with regulations such as SoX, Privacy, and GxP.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including communication and relationship-building capabilities at a senior level.
Experience applying policies, procedures, and risk management within regulatory frameworks.
