Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of engineering programmes, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality targets are consistently achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, Project Managers, including engineering teams, suppliers, finance teams, and senior executives.
  • Lead programme governance, reporting, and compliance activities, ensuring transparency and robust decision-making.
  • Manage contracts, budgets, and commercial negotiations to secure best-value outcomes.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, ensuring resilience and continuity.

Key Skills:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.

Do you have significant experience delivering large-scale railway programmes, managing scope, budget, risk, and stakeholder engagement? If so TXM Recruit are partnered with a major railway client to recruit a Programme Manager to join them based in East Midlands on a 6-month contract basis paying up to £600 per day (outside IR35). About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multi?disciplinary engineering programmes that are critical to our strategic objectives. This role requires a proven leader who can operate confidently across technical, commercial, and operational domains while driving performance, governance, and value for money.
