Summary: The role of Programme Manager - OT Asset Management Strategic Solution at SPEN involves overseeing the delivery of an operational technology asset management system, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and effective stakeholder management. The position requires collaboration with various business units and external partners to drive project success and manage risks. The Programme Manager will report on progress to executive stakeholders and ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations. This is a long-term contract role based in Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align delivery of the programme to SPEN’s asset management strategy, maintaining a focus on OT operational requirements.
  • Plan and manage interdependencies between workstreams and other Transformation projects.
  • Manage cross-project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Prepare and report to the Asset Management Governance Committee to assure programme delivery integrity.
  • Build relationships with third-party suppliers for timely solution delivery.
  • Track contracted project deliverables against asset management requirements from contract placement to final delivery.
  • Coach and mentor delivery team members to maintain project scope and cadence.
  • Maintain a detailed programme plan and report on issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Ensure effective delivery into business-as-usual operations with a defined support framework.

Key Skills:

  • Agile Delivery experience with product and sprint backlog management.
  • Tender Management expertise in complex ITT processes.
  • Experience in delivering large programmes across multiple business functions.
  • Working knowledge of OT asset management systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with external delivery partners.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management skills.
  • Broad technical knowledge related to asset management technologies.
  • Experience managing large-scale SaaS solutions delivery.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework, particularly SACM.
  • Proven ability to implement SACM tooling in large-scale operations.
  • Customer-focused approach to deliver quality solutions on time.
  • Qualifications in PRINCE2, APM or equivalent desirable.
  • Experience in delivering across multiple teams and vendor engagements.
