Summary: The Programme Manager will oversee multiple IT-related projects within a multi-national organization on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage stakeholder relationships and ensure project delivery aligns with business objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams and be responsible for problem-solving and governance throughout the project lifecycle. Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is preferred, along with a background in managing complex IT projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of multiple projects, responsible for solving problems and overseeing tasks through to finish
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the delivery of projects
- Work closely with the development teams to ensure the quality levels of the deliverables meet expectations
- Manage project risks and ensure best practice governance
- Being the liaison between the technical IT teams and business stakeholders of a varying understanding of IT knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Key Skills:
- 10+ years experience in Project Management
- Experience managing and successfully delivering a range of IT projects from start to finish
- Familiar with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Prince2 Practitioner or APM Practitioner preferable but not essential
- Comfortable liaising with C-Suite level stakeholders
