Summary: The Programme Manager role involves leading the delivery of complex business change and transformation initiatives within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will oversee high-impact programmes, ensuring execution against Group ExCo-level standards and managing multi-dimensional change. This position requires extensive experience in financial services and a proven track record in delivering large-scale transformation programmes. The role is critical in shaping delivery strategy and engaging with senior leadership stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of multi-million-pound business change programmes across risk, digital credentialing, and organisational transformation
- Operate as deputy to a senior Managing Director, with visibility across multiple workstreams
- Ensure programme governance, status reporting, and risk mitigation are executed to the highest standard
- Engage with stakeholders at senior leadership level, including Managing Directors and ExCo-level executives
- Navigate and stabilise complex delivery environments with ambiguous and shifting priorities
- Drive end-to-end delivery including planning, budgeting, milestone tracking, and benefits realisation
- Identify and manage unconnected risks and dependencies impacting programme success
- Embed best practices for change delivery, with strong process discipline and a hands-on delivery mindset
