Summary: The role of Programme Manager focuses on overseeing projects related to SD-WAN and Data Centre infrastructure for a leading global consultancy. The position is a 6-8 week contract requiring on-site presence one day per week in either London or Newbury, with an immediate start preferred. The candidate should have experience in Data Centre and Managed Hosting infrastructure, as well as SD-WAN implementation. This role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the programme related to Data Centre and Managed Hosting infrastructure.
- Plan and execute application migration from source to target infrastructure.
- Mobilise the Network Enablement workstream, including moving circuits and network paths into private Data Centres.
- Oversee the rollout of SD-WAN across two networks.
- Coordinate the private cloud build and planning for migration events starting in September.
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Programme Manager in Data Centre, Managed Hosting Infrastructure, and Private Cloud.
- Knowledge of application migration processes.
- Experience working in secure and regulated environments.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN technologies and fixed delivery methods.
