Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the scoping and planning of key programmes and projects, translating business objectives into tangible deliverables with a structured approach and clear ownership and accountability.
- Provide a business partner lens to scoping potential programmes of change by advising on pipeline, changing priorities, dependencies, known issues to resolve, and potential risks to mitigate.
Key Skills:
- Prince2 Practitioner qualification.
- MSP (Managing Successful Programmes) practitioner qualification.
- Experience in managing complex projects and programmes.

The Portfolio Management & Transformation function, works alongside our Senior Leaders to provide professional and high-quality project management to our Portfolio of Transformational Change. We are looking for a Grade 14 Programme Manger on a 12 month fixed term contract or internal secondment, with the following:-
- Lead on delivery of large programmes or projects across any area of the council, integrating activities of a number of stakeholders that may be internal and external
- Lead the scoping and planning of key programmes and projects, translating business objectives into tangible deliverables with a structured approach and clear ownership and accountability
- Provide a business partner lens to scoping potential programmes of change by advising on pipeline, changing priorities, dependencies, known issues to resolve, and potential risks to mitigate
