Summary: This role is for an experienced Programme Manager to lead a complex, high-profile, multi-agency programme in the public sector for a duration of 6 months. Key Responsibilities:
- Take immediate ownership of programme involving several workstreams
- Re-establish the programme's structure and define a clear critical path for delivery
- Lead and coordinate activity across multiple agencies and departments
- Provide direct support to a highly engaged leadership team
- Ensure consistent communication and alignment among key stakeholders
- Apply change management and PMO best practices to drive delivery forward
Key Skills:
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-agency programmes - local authority experience strongly preferred but experience in central government and police also relevant
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement and cross-departmental coordination
- Confident handling sensitive and high-profile projects
