Summary: The Programme Manager role in Darlington involves leading and coordinating business-facing activities for the Capstone project, bridging the gap between IT and business. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the business facing in UAT, Implementation and Hypercare phases of the project
- Act as the main link between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, risks, and outcomes
- Oversee programme planning, governance, and reporting, maintaining a clear view of progress, dependencies, and delivery milestones
- Manage and engage with internal teams and third-party partners to drive delivery against agreed timelines
- Support effective communication and engagement across multiple business areas to ensure successful adoption and business readiness
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies to maintain programme momentum and quality
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-site projects or programmes within a complex organisation, ideally within a PLC or enterprise environment
- Strong background in project and programme management, with a solid track record of delivery through to implementation
- Able to communicate technical information clearly to business stakeholders and vice versa
- Skilled in governance, planning, and stakeholder management at all levels
- Qualified (or working towards) in a recognised framework such as Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or a Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP)
- Confident working under pressure, managing competing priorities, and maintaining delivery standards in fast-paced environments

Salary - £60,000 - £70,000 per annum based on experience.

About You
Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-site projects or programmes within a complex organisation, ideally within a PLC or enterprise environment
