Summary: The Programme Manager role involves leading a major transformation programme for a prominent UK financial services organization. The position requires a seasoned professional capable of managing multiple projects and engaging with senior stakeholders at both strategic and delivery levels. The role is based in either London or Cheshire, with a hybrid working arrangement. The contract is initially for 12 months and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the successful delivery of large-scale programmes comprising multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships up to Managing Director and Executive level.
  • Drive programme governance, reporting, planning, RAID management, and delivery oversight.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technology functions.
  • Ensure programme objectives, milestones, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Provide leadership across programme delivery whilst remaining hands-on when required.
  • Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
  • Support regulatory, risk, controls, security, and operational resilience initiatives where required.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience operating as a Programme Manager within large enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple concurrent projects and workstreams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with Executive and Managing Director-level stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering complex change and transformation programmes.
  • Strong governance, risk, dependency, and financial management experience.

Programme Manager

Atrium EMEA are supporting a world-leading IT services client in their search for an experienced Programme Manager to join a major transformation programme within a leading UK financial services organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Programme Manager who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and delivery level, managing multiple projects and workstreams whilst engaging senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Location: London or Cheshire (2 days per week onsite)
Rate: £700-£750 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Initial 12-month contract
Start Date: ASAP
