Summary: Belmont Recruitment is seeking a Programme Manager for Suffolk Council's Drug & Alcohol Service for a temporary contract of 3-6 months. The role involves leading the local response to the Government’s 10-Year Drug Strategy, focusing on service coordination and system improvements for substance misuse. The Programme Manager will engage with various stakeholders to enhance outcomes for affected individuals across Suffolk. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee delivery of the Drug and Alcohol Community Treatment Contract and associated improvement plans
- Lead activity and partnership engagement in support of the national Drug Strategy through the Combatting Drugs Partnership
- Identify and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for individuals with alcohol and drug dependency
- Use local data, intelligence, and service feedback to inform priorities, commissioning decisions, and programme activity
- Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including NHS, voluntary sector, community safety, and public health teams
- Contribute to budget management, performance reporting, and delivery of strategic objectives
- Support and influence wider public health initiatives, aligned with reducing health inequalities and promoting safer communities
