Programme Manager - Central Gov - Outside IR35

Summary: The Programme Manager role involves leading a significant transformation programme for a central government client in Bristol. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of programme objectives, particularly focusing on the implementation of new IT systems interfacing with a core ERP. This position requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to navigate the complexities of government operations. The role is outside the scope of IR35, offering a competitive daily rate based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taking control of a wide-ranging, in-flight transformation programme impacting all aspects of the end client's operations
• Quickly understanding current opportunities, challenges, and risks to the programme and communicating effectively with the wider SLT
• Driving delivery of programme objectives, including rollout of new IT systems interfacing with a core ERP (Dynamics 365)
• Identifying deliverables to ensure successful programme delivery in the next 12-24 months

Key Skills:

• Programme Manager experience within central government transformation programmes (essential)
• Previous experience on end-to-end transformation programmes with ERP delivery at the core
• Demonstrable ability to pick up an in-flight programme and drive it towards successful delivery
• Fantastic stakeholder management skills and effective communication with colleagues, end client stakeholders, and 3rd party delivery partners
• Previous experience on a SOW/consulting project would be beneficial, but not essential
