Summary: The Programme Engineering Manager will oversee engineering work packages for a large Aerospace and Defence supplier in Glenrothes on a contract basis. The role requires UK SC Clearance and involves planning, risk management, and technical problem-solving within product development programmes. The manager will also mentor engineers and ensure effective communication across teams. This position is initially for a 6-month contract and is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning of Engineering work packages, managing risk, and validating assumptions using Microsoft Project.
• Developing visual management techniques to track and drive programme execution.
• Progress reporting to the Programme, Business, and Leadership Team.
• Supporting Engineers by connecting them with other functions within the programme team.
• Liaising with Programme Design Authority and Chief Engineer for technical integrity.
• Managing risks and changes for all Engineering deliverables.
• Technical problem-solving in development and manufacturing domains.
• Motivating and coaching Engineering team members.
• Mentoring engineers for technical leadership roles.
