Programme Director – Building Safety Remediation Programme - Up to £180,000 pa3 year fixed-term contract - Can be based nationwide

I'm currently working with a leading construction consultancy who are looking to hire a Programme Lead for a national building safety remediation programme.

This is a multi-year, portfolio-wide programme covering circa 400 buildings across Direct and Indirect Self Remediation Terms (SRT) and Orphan assets, all subject to the Building Safety Act.

The role provides full-time, single-client leadership of the programme – taking overall ownership of delivery, governance and the client relationship.

Requirements

• MAPM or similar qualification.
• Minimum 15 years' industry experience, including senior programme or project leadership roles.
• Demonstrable track record of leading large, multi-workstream programmes for a major client – ideally in real estate, insurance, or building safety/compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of building safety legislation (Building Safety Act, Higher-Risk Building regime) and experience managing large, multi-property compliance or remediation programmes.
• Excellent governance, reporting and stakeholder management skills
• Strong people leadership skills, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix structure.
