Summary: The Programme and Student Lead for Conversion Programmes is a pivotal academic leadership role focused on programme delivery, student experience, and continuous improvement within legal education. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the programmes meet regulatory standards and deliver exceptional outcomes for students. The role is based at the London, Moorgate campus and is fixed-term until December 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, delivery and assessment of conversion programmes across campuses
- Contribute to continuous improvement aligned with QAA, SRA and BSB standards
- Use student and performance data to drive enhancements and inform decision-making
- Lead on delivering an exceptional student experience on campus
- Monitor and improve student satisfaction, retention, progression and achievement
- Oversee student feedback processes and ensure insights translate into action
- Work closely with Academic Managers and campus teams to share best practice
- Support the coordination and development of teaching teams
- Contribute to course development planning and innovation in teaching and assessment
- Build a strong profile within the Higher Education and legal sectors
- Attend external events to promote the University and identify best practice
- Undertake teaching responsibilities alongside leadership duties
Key Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister
- Significant experience in legal education, including programme delivery or design
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational abilities
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse performance and drive improvements

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced legal/education professional to join us as a Programme and Student Lead for our Conversion Programmes.
This is a key academic leadership role, combining programme delivery, student experience and continuous improvement. You will play a central part in ensuring our programmes remain market-leading, delivering outstanding outcomes for students and meeting regulatory standards.
Working closely with the Programme Director, Deputy Director and Head of Law Conversion Programmes, you will contribute to the design, delivery and enhancement of our courses across the University.
