Summary: The Programme Administrator role at a respected London higher education institution involves supporting academic teams through effective communication and coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate timetabling, room bookings, speaker arrangements and start-of-term preparation across BSc and MSc programmes.
- Support assessments, marking and exam board planning, ensuring clear schedules and accurate communication.
- Maintain virtual learning environments and update programme documents with guidance from academic teams.
- Provide student-facing support including attendance monitoring, guiding learners through procedures and responding to enquiries.
- Assist with project organisation, viva planning and preparation for the next academic cycle.
- Contribute to programme administration by servicing committees, maintaining records and supporting ongoing tasks.
Key Skills:
- Experience in higher education administration with good understanding of academic and student cycles.
- Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to support staff and students.
- Strong organisational skills, initiative and the ability to prioritise during busy periods.
- Proficiency using VLEs, scheduling tools and Microsoft Office.
