Summary: The Program Manager – Verification & Validation at Bentley Motors will lead the functional content for specific projects within the Whole Vehicle team, ensuring that engineering designs meet product requirements prior to customer release. This role involves managing the Whole Vehicle Verification & Validation processes, aligning plans with various teams, and providing strategic leadership and technical guidance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering and systems engineering, with proven project management skills. The position is based in Crewe, England, with flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver Whole Vehicle Verification & Validation including Durability, Reliability, and Functional Events.
  • Align Verification & Validation Plans with Platform, R&D, and Quality teams.
  • Manage project deliverables and milestones against key performance indicators.
  • Provide strategic leadership and technical guidance to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead process improvement activities and technical direction with other functions/engineers.
  • Develop and influence strategic validation direction and technical roadmaps.
  • Maintain relationships and communications between group counterparts.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Engineer with a focus on whole vehicle verification and validation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing up to Board level.
  • Experience in leading Systems Engineering validation plans.
  • Track record of successful deliveries of vehicle systems/features or as Project Manager.
  • Significant knowledge of Whole Vehicle deliverables in line with Engineering PVR’s and KPI’s.
  • Understanding of Test and measurement requirements in line with VAG procedures.
  • Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functionally.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
