Detailed Description From Employer:

Programme Manager, Strategy & Operations, EMEA Marketing (11-Month Contract)

The Opportunity:

Lead the AI Transformation of a Global Tech Giant's Marketing in EMEA

Join the dynamic Strategy & Operations (S&O) team within the EMEA Marketing organization of a major, US-based technology leader. This is a high-impact, 25-person unit that drives the efficiency and strategic focus for a 500-person-strong marketing division across the entire region. This isn't a traditional operational role—you'll be an end-to-end Program Management leader responsible for defining, driving, and delivering the most critical strategic initiatives for the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) in EMEA. Your primary mission will be to accelerate the AI Transformation of marketing. You will be instrumental in integrating cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the daily workflows of hundreds of marketers—from campaign planning to creative production—creating a once-in-a-career opportunity to shape the future of marketing at one of the world's leading tech companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategy, Data, and Transformation
  • This role requires a blend of strong Program Management, analytical depth, and a strategic mindset to navigate a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Lead the AI Marketing Strategy: Spearhead the operationalization of AI within the EMEA Marketing team. This includes identifying and prioritizing AI use cases, developing a simple, accessible dashboard for all marketers to easily find the right tools, content, and best practices, and facilitating the change needed to adopt these new technologies.
  • End-to-End Program Management: Own strategic programs from needs definition (internal assessment) through to stakeholder engagement (from VP level down) and final change management communication. Success is measured by the real-world impact and delivery of tangible programs.
  • Operational Excellence & Efficiency: Streamline and automate critical S&O processes that are currently manual (e.g., internal satisfaction surveys, planning cycles) by leveraging AI and other tools. Your work will directly make the entire 500-person marketing organization more efficient.
  • Strategic & Analytical Depth: Bring data, analytics, and modeling expertise to solve defined and vague business issues. You will structure problems for executive leaders, develop data-backed solutions, and craft compelling business justifications.
  • Stakeholder Mobilization & Consensus: Serve as the central point for alignment across various stakeholders. Persuasively communicate recommendations to senior directors and VPs, build consensus, and mobilize cross-functional teams toward implementation.
  • Internal Consulting & Project Support (20%): Dedicate a portion of your time to high-priority, country-specific marketing teams (e.g., specific countries or product lines) to bring expert PGM competencies and accelerate their key initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

We are looking for experienced professional who can hit the ground running and add immediate value, valuing autonomy and a strong team-first spirit.

  • 10-12+ years of professional experience, showing a clear career trajectory (open to senior candidates).
  • Consulting background (strategy, management, or marketing consulting) combined with Tech Company experience (ideally major FANG/Big Tech companies like Netflix, Amazon, Microsoft, or similar).
  • Strong capabilities in Data Analysis, Analytics, and Modeling.
  • Proficiency in common enterprise productivity suites (like Google Suite) and Dashboards is essential.
  • SQL knowledge is highly beneficial.
  • Soft Skills Excellent collaboration, team spirit, and a mindset built on trust.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to speak credibly and influence stakeholders at all levels (VP to junior).
  • Experience with marketing ecosystems and the culture of US tech companies is a significant advantage for a quicker ramp-up.
