Summary: The Central Belt Programme Manager is responsible for managing and delivering training and employability programs aimed at helping individuals gain skills or employment in the hospitality industry. This role combines hands-on training and coaching, requiring a highly organized and energetic individual who can adapt to various learner needs. The manager will engage with local employers and provide ongoing support to trainees, ensuring they achieve their career goals. The position is based in Glasgow and is fixed-term until March 31, 2025, with potential for extension based on funding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and delivering engaging training programs for all ages
- Leading hospitality and employability-focused training sessions
- Coaching trainees to set and achieve personal goals
- Engaging the industry and creating partnerships with local employers
- Setting up supportive work experience placements
- Managing budgets and costs
- Meeting and exceeding targets set by Hub International and funders
- Celebrating trainee success
- Providing supportive aftercare services
