Program Manager

Summary: The Interim Programme Manager will oversee a critical finance system implementation, ensuring successful delivery by revitalizing the programme and providing strong leadership. This role is essential as the go-live is scheduled for July, with a contingency until September. The manager will assess the current programme, engage stakeholders, and lead a team of Business Analysts to maintain momentum and alignment with business objectives. Effective communication and readiness for go-live are key expectations of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the finance system implementation programme and drive it through to successful delivery
• Rapidly assess the current programme plan, identifying risks, dependencies, and priorities
• Re-engage stakeholders and re-establish clear governance, timelines, and deliverables
• Manage and lead a small team of Business Analysts, ensuring effective alignment and productivity
• Collaborate closely with the Finance Director to ensure alignment between programme objectives and business outcomes
• Influence and engage stakeholders across the wider organisation to support successful adoption
• Ensure programme reporting, progress tracking, and communication are transparent and consistent
• Drive readiness for go-live, managing testing, training, and transition activities
