Contextual Information: Sizewell C is a new nuclear power station being built on the Suffolk coast. Following the recent Final Investment Decision, construction is now fully greenlit, marking a major milestone in delivering the country’s long-term energy security and net-zero goals. As the biggest investment in clean, homegrown energy in decades, Sizewell C will supply low-carbon electricity to around 6 million homes for at least 60 years. SZC will design, construct, commission, operate and decommission two UK EPR reactors on the SZC Site, located at Sizewell, on the east coast of the County of Suffolk. SZC will be delivered as a regulated utility, with a robust RAB model and a comprehensive Government Support Package to provide protection against low-probability high impact risks. The project will be based on the HPC nuclear power station, replicating the UK EPR design that is being built at HPC, and will use the majority of the same supply chain resulting in a significant reduction in construction risk. SZC operates within a complex and fast-moving stakeholder environment, engaging with a wide range of partners including government bodies, regulators, local communities, supply chain partners, and international collaborators. This makes Sizewell C a uniquely stimulating place to work — where navigating evolving priorities, balancing interests, and building trusted relationships is just as critical as technical excellence. For those who thrive in dynamic, multi-dimensional settings, it offers unmatched professional challenge and growth.
