The estate’s gardens have recently undergone an extensive redevelopment, designed by an award-winning garden designer, and are now entering an exciting phase of establishment and ongoing refinement. This role offers the chance to work within a diverse and inspiring landscape, helping to maintain and develop gardens of exceptional quality. The gardens feature extensive perennial and shrub borders, a beautifully reimagined walled garden incorporating both ornamental and productive areas, restored and newly constructed greenhouses, woodland gardens, wildflower meadows, and a picturesque lake. We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual with a solid level of practical horticultural experience. Formal qualifications are welcomed but are not essential; relevant hands-on experience and a genuine passion for horticulture are equally valued. The successful candidate will be personable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a close-knit and enthusiastic team.
