Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production and final assembly facilities, equipment, and technologies, ensuring alignment with required timing and approved investment levels.
- Utilise Practical Problem Solving and Control techniques to proactively deliver solutions, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with all Legal Statutes, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and other relevant regulations.
- Manage project budgets effectively, delivering all projects within agreed financial targets while tracking potential risks.
- Generate deliverable milestones and monitor detailed project plans to ensure smooth execution.
About the Person
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, particularly in vehicle assembly processes. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience with Final Assembly Production Facilities, including Automation Systems, Assembly Lines, Conveyors, Robots, and more.
- A solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation relevant to the industry.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong Project Management and Planning skills, with proficiency in software such as MS Project for tracking and reporting.
- A positive attitude towards change, ensuring Quality, Cost, and Delivery are maintained.
- Demonstrable problem-solving experience using Practical Problem Solving techniques.
