Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex creative productions, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest creative and operational standards.

Working closely with Creative, Studio Traffic, and business stakeholders, you will oversee the full production lifecycle, managing budgets, governance, compliance, suppliers, and production teams to deliver outstanding content across multiple channels.

Location: Waterside (UB7 0GB) Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite

Contract Length: 3 Months

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end production delivery from briefing and pre-production through to shoot, post-production, and final delivery.
  • Partner with Studio Traffic, Creative teams, and stakeholders to assess briefs, shape production roadmaps, and ensure delivery feasibility.
  • Oversee production logistics including crew, talent, locations, equipment, suppliers, and technical requirements.
  • Manage productions in operational and safety-critical environments, ensuring safe delivery with minimal business disruption.
  • Own production governance, ensuring compliance with health & safety, legal, regulatory, insurance, and organisational requirements.
  • Develop and approve risk assessments, safety plans, filming permissions, and operational controls for all productions.
  • Manage project budgets, supplier negotiations, agency relationships, and freelancer performance while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing creative, content, film, television, or large-scale production projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and build support for ideas.
  • Demonstrable experience managing agencies, suppliers, and external production partners.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives.
  • Experience leading teams and developing direct reports within a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in project and portfolio management tools such as Asana, with working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.

Additional Information

  • Experience working within marketing, content production, or creative agency environments is highly desirable.
  • Marketing qualification preferred.
  • Experience managing projects with budgets of up to £150,000.
  • Opportunity to manage a Production Executive and support colleague casting programmes.
  • Exposure to transformational programmes and change initiatives would be advantageous.
