Summary: The role of Production Controller involves managing and coordinating manufacturing documentation and material availability for a leading client in the Rail Rolling Stock Industry. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with supply chain personnel to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization. The controller will also monitor production schedules and manage rejects to minimize delays. This contract-based role is located in Widnes, Cheshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinating a timely release schedule for manufacturing documentation and managing material availability.
- Responsible for shop floor loading, capacity monitoring, and creation of Line of Balance charts.
- Providing support to Operational Management for optimal utilization of materials and resources.
- Liaison with supply chain personnel and Wincanton for timely material delivery.
- Co-ordinating the delivery of assembled products into stores.
- Monitoring and reporting planned vs actual times.
- Managing and processing rejects to minimize manufacturing delays.
- Ensuring correct processing of manufacturing documentation at job close out and material allocation via SAP.
- Ensuring data integrity within SAP, SFDC, and other databases.

Recruiting for a Production Controller to work on a contract basis to support a leading client in the Rail Rolling Stock Industry based at their site in Widnes Cheshire.
Responsibilities
Co-ordinating a timely release schedule for manufacturing documentation and for the accurate recording and management of material availability to meet the schedule.
Responsible for shop floor loading, capacity monitoring and creation of Line of Balance charts where appropriate.
Providing support to Operational Management to ensure best utilisation of materials and resource.
Liaison with supply chain personnel and Wincanton to ensure the timely delivery of material.
Co-ordinating the delivery of assembled products into stores.
Monitoring and reporting planned v actual times.
Manage and process rejects effectively to minimise manufacturing delays.
Ensuring that manufacturing documentation is correctly processed at job close out and that all materials have been allocated via SAP.
