Production Control Apprentice (Chassis)

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and support workflow and engineering job resource with operational timings relevant to drawing revisions.
• Assist in future load management of the Supply Chain, ensuring accurate data for make vs buy decisions.
• Provide administrative support for the works order process from creation to closure.
• Manage component tracking attributes and monitor project status against planned milestones.
• Support the parts management team and learn the EPM system in Epicor.
• Assist the Revision Coordinator in controlling the up-issue and obsolete process for parts.
• Attend and run production control status meetings, providing feedback on group progress.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 9 – 4 (A*- C) including Maths, English, and Science.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Team spirit, creativity, and sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work independently and reliably.
• Computer literate, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Able to travel daily to the Milton Keynes campus.
