We’re hiring a temporary Production Accountant to support Film Production and Post Production departments. The main focus is clearing a backlog of reconciliations caused by a new system rollout and business growth, ahead of a year-end deadline.
About the role:
Reconcile production budgets and expenses across Film and Post Production
Initial focus on Post Production jobs: high volume, low value (~£50K, ~10 entries) — straightforward reconciliations
Progress to higher-value, more complex reconciliations (up to £500K budgets, ~100 purchase entries), matching Producers’ Excel reconciliations to system data before finalising
Potential for permanent role, evolving into a business-facing position with ownership of producers and/or clients
Ideal candidate:
Experience handling reconciliations on budgets up to £500K with numerous purchase entries (supplier invoices, expenses, company credit cards)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working with Excel and production accounting systems

Requirements:
2+ years' experience as a Production Accountant
