• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products according to approved manuals and contract requirements.
• Participate in HSQE management processes and submit observation/near miss reports.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities for maintenance and procedures.
• Attend customer meetings for work sign-off on equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and repairs using technical information.
• Complete relevant documentation for all work carried out.
• Participate in 24/7 shift working and callouts as required.
• Control and motivate the team to maximize available hours and assist with technical support issues.
• Order parts and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
• Monitor team competence and conduct quality inspections as necessary.
