Summary: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is seeking a Product Regulation Compliance Manager (RPAS) to establish a new function within its regulatory team, focusing on compliance and conformity assessment for Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). The role requires a technical background and involves stakeholder management, oversight of product standards, and ensuring compliance with UK regulations. The successful candidate will lead the Market Surveillance Authority function, promoting safety and security in the RPAS sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and deliver multifaceted solutions for RPAS compliance.
- Oversee conformity assessment and compliance with product standards for RPAS.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Lead the Market Surveillance Authority function, ensuring safety and security of RPAS.
- Set the vision and deliver an effective MSA function.
- Manage and oversee Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs).
- Help mature the MSA function as the regulatory environment develops.
